[Sexual incompatibility with sour cherry determined by the quick method "in vivo"]

The degrees of incompatibility with sour cherry variety Kereska (Prunus cerasus L.) and pollinator types (sour cherry: Hajmova konzervna, Rimorendsi, Lotova and cherry: Germerdorfska), have been investigated concerning their germination time. It is observed that in all the combinations there have been stopping in growth of pollen tubes at the bottom styles as well as the appearance of forking, nodes and thickening at the ends of pollen tubes and all of these are the obvious signs of incompatibility.
