Research and farmer use of sulphur in Thailand
1986
Keerati-Kasikorn, Pirmpoon
Widespread sulphur deficiency in Thailand has been reported. However, most sulphur research has been exploratory. Since physiography of the country and type of agriculture vary from region to region, the present research results are not adequate to identify sulphur deficient soil types, zones or crops which may require sulphur for higher production. Results from field trials on Paleustilt and Quartzipsamment soils in the northeast region which generally showed no sulphur response was reported.
