Studies on nutrient characters in wheat of high yield potential and techniques for fertilizer application

The absorption of N, P, K, and formation of carbohydrate in wheat plants with different N rate and the effection grain yield were systematically studied with field experiment of wheat plant nutrient characters and techniques for fertilizer application. The result showed that with higher levels of N, C appeared at tillering stage, higher N level with lower C were met at recoverying stage, higher C at a late stage of plant growth for high yield potential. The parameters for calculating recommended fertilizer rates, the reasonable principle of fertilizer application, and economical stage of making up for N critical wheat plant were summarized according to soil, fertilizer and relation between plant nutrient and yield.
