The fungitoxicity of three fungicides, Orthodifolatan 80, Cobox blue, and Dithane M 45 to Cercospora leaf spot was evaluated in vivo on artificially inoculated cowpea plants in the field. The characteristics of the pods produced per plant were used as the parameters for assessing fungitoxicity. Higher mean number of pods and higher mean weight of pods per plant were observed for Orthodifolatan 80 and Dithane M 45 than for Cobox blue. Orthodifolatan 80 and Dithane M 45 were fungitoxic when applied at the rate of 2.0 kg a.i/ha with only slight fungitoxicity using Cobox blue
