The effect of magnesium and fritted trace elements (F.T.E.) 503 on yield is summarized. It is concluded that for optimum yields (dry matter) of pangola grass on Tiwiwid fine sand, no magnesium is needed but F.T.E. 503 at 22 kg/ha every 3 months is required
