Effect of time of transplanting and role of growth regulators on yield of onion

An experiment was conducted to determine the time of transplanting and role of growth regulators on yield of onion. The result revealed that transplanting of onion in early January resulted in higher production than February transplanting in Vindhya region of Madhya Pradesh. The growth regulators showed significant influence on yield of onion. The highest yield of 216 q/ha was recorded due to application of NAA which was 59% higher than control
