Nutritional status of some guava orchards in Haryana (India)

A survey of 21 guava orchards for their nutrient status in Haryana revealed that about 55% soils and about 40% leaf samples of the orchards were deficient in zinc. Organic carbon and nitrogen were low in about 42% soils and 40% leaf samples, respectively. The pH, E.C. and Fe in all the soils and P.K. and Fe in all the leaf samples were optimum, whereas P and K of soils were in medium to high range
