1987
Alcantara, P.F. | Arganosa, V.G. | Zamora, R.G. | Librojo, N.T.
The average daily gain, feed efficiency and feeding days of the pigs on CLMThT diet improved correspondingly by 26.5, 25.5 and 26% over the pigs on diet C. The pigs on CLMThT diet had significantly larger loin eye area and higher lean cut yield than those on diet C. However, they were only as good as the pigs on corn-soy diet in growth performance, loin eye area and lean cut yield. In addition, they had significantly lower lean fat compared to the pigs on the other treatments. However, the pigs on copra meal diets (with or without amino acid supplementation) had firmer fat than those on corn-soy diet.
