Changes in the cluster usability and some physical properties of the leaves and roots of some sugar beet varieties in relation to the composition of the envelope

Twelve seed coatings and three sugar beet varieties were studied. The plants were evaluated for their laboratory and field performance and morphological features of their leaves and roots. Uncoated seeds were found to give the best results. Domestic MgO-containing coatings were superior to imported MgO coatings. There were coating type:variety interactions for the traits under study
