[Blood polymorphism of Arabian horses bred in Poland]

An evaluation on 932 Arabian horses was carried out. Significant differences in frequency of phenotypes within female lines and between male lines were found. The high homozygousness for all studied proteins and enzymes in this population was observed. The Polish Arabian horse population constitutes a genetically consolidated group
