An observation on Black-and White (cb) and Holstein-Friesian (hf) pure breed cattle as well as on cb x hf and (cb x hf) x Red-and-White (czb) crossbred cattle was carried out. The highest daily gain and the highest body weight at the age of 15 months in the heifers sired by czb bulls and in pure cb young bulls was stated. The higher slaughter performance and the improved carcass composition in czb sire progeny was observed
