Some morphological and biochemical indices in the blood of Norwegian and Polish Polar foxes

The haemotological studies on 36 Norwegian and 35 Polish Polar foxes at the age of 5-7 months were carried out. The higher leukocyte number in Norwegian fox blood was observed. The lower crude protein content and the higher that of urea in the blood serum of Norwegian foxes indicates the more intensive protein catabolism than in the Polish ones
