Describes research work carried out in the following areas: 1) forage legume and pasture utilization: (a) grass and legume seed production and utilization in Antigua, (b) establishment and maintenance of 3 ha of quickstick (Glyricidia sepium) for inclusion in animal feeds in Jamaica, (c) establishment of grass nurseries and a review of planting systems in Barbados, (d) forage legume seed production, evaluation of new forage species and establishment of improved pastures in Trinidad; 2) utilization of by-products in animal feeds in Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad; 3) the effect of diets containing different levels of crude protein on the growth of lambs in Trinidad; 4) evaluation of 3 commercial broiler rations in Trinidad; 5) the Blenheim Sheep Project in Tobago; 6) sheep parasite project in Barbados
