Production of permanent tree crop plants increased by 4 % over the last year and the number of vegetable and ornamental plants produced showed increases of 27.2 % and 47.2 % respectively. Overall significant increases in the production of coffee, citrus, avocado and other fruit types, however, the number of cocoa and avocado plants produced showed a small decline. Weather conditions were favourable providing for an adequate quantity of stock and scion material for propagation. There were no significant pest or disease problems
