The project involves the training of nationals in the planning and implementation of integrated watershed management through demonstrations of soil and water conservation and reclamation techniques, setting up of runoff plots in the watershed to measure soil loss and runoff, developing guidelines for preparation of land use plans within acceptable socio-economic parameters, and preparation of detailed management plans for sub-watersheds and their implementation.
