[The yield of soybean grain and protein content of different cultivars in the agricultural and ecological conditions of the Kosovo province [Yugoslavia]]

The yield of soybean grain depended to a large extent on annual weather conditions especially precipitations. Agricultural and ecological conditions of localities significantly influenced the grain yield as well. On the alluvial soil, in the conditions of irrigation, the yield was significantly higher than in smonitza in the conditions without irrigation. Choice of a particular variety also had an important effect upon the height of yield. The protein content in the grain, investigated on one locality only, depended on the conditions of the year and very significantly on the variety.
