[Effects of the protected area upon the development of the Gladiolus and Iris flower]

Gladioli flowers in the plastic tunnels had a longer period from planting to the G stage and flowering. Possibilities for earlier planting enabled earlier flowering by a month in comparison with the open field. Iris reached the G stage when plants had 3 real leaves and it flowered in the beginning of March
