The investigation deals with the effect of 4 systemic fungicides upon the tobacco pathogen Peronospora tabacina. All the four preparations proved to be very efficient in controlling the tobacco blue mould. Three treatments secured almost complete protection of tobacco plants. The application of the fungicides resulted in the increase of yield and had a positive effect upon the content of some chemical components of tobacco which influenced tobacco quality.
