Contribution to the knowledge of health conditions of some insect pests on sugar-beet in Vojvodina [Yugoslavia]

Health condition of some sugar beet insects, pests in Vojvodina was investigated. The following sugar beet insects were examined: Bothynoderes punctiventris, Scrobipalpa ocellatella, Chaetocnema tibialis, Aphis fabae and Scotia sp. Diseases caused by microorganisms were established. In the investigation period 1981-1985, there were found focci of diseases caused by fungi, microsporidia, viruses, bacteria and nematodes. Diseases in epizootic scale were not registered with the above mentioned insects. Nosematosis of Chaetocnema tibialis and Scrobipalpa ocellatella were mentioned for the first time.
