Hloroksin (a blend of 7-chloro-8 hydroxyquinoline (38.5%), 5-7-dichloro-8-hydroxyquinoline (60.9%) and 5-chloro-8-hydroxyquinoline (0.6%)) did not have inhibitory effects on the processes in the respiratory chain. It did not affect the blood picture of the animals or the weight of parenchymal organs and endocrine glands. Its antibacterial effect has been noticed. It is actively excreted through kidneys in larger quantities.
