35.5% of broiler litter in the feeding mash for experimental sows was used instead of dry pulps, sunflower meal, dehydrated lucerne, wheat bran and partly maize. The number of piglets in a litter as well as the total number of piglets from sows in both groups was not significantly different between groups. However, birth weights and weights on the 15th and 26th day post partum were heavier by 8-11% on the average in the control group of piglets. Weights of sows in the control group were also slightly heavier than in the experimental group. Coefficient of digestibility of mixtures was lower regarding the standard mixture.
