The influence of liming on microflora of pseudogley soils
1986
Todorovic, M. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Beograd (Yugoslavia). Katedra za mikrobiologiju)
The investigated pseudogley soil is of acid reaction, poor with humus, easily accessible nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium having biogen (total microflora) which is the richest at the surface layer but reduces to the bottom. After liming the soil reaction changes from acid to neutral and to weakly alkaline while the total biogen increases. There was no significant increase of the development of some microorganism groups. In this pseudogley soil the Azotobacterium species is observed neither before nor after liming.
