Growth and biomass production of Acacia auriculiformis and Eucalyptus camaldulensis reforested in the denuded hilly lands of the Chittagong University Campus, Chittagong was studied. Results show that Acacia was found to have higher growth and biomass production performance than that of Eucalyptus. The projected biomass production performance of Acacia and Eucalyptus merits them as large scale short rotation fuelwood species.
