Comparative effects of six lignous legumes and their pruning on the height and yield of maize (Zea mays) in Nkong-Meyos Yaounde [Cameroon]
1989
Pewo, V.
The trial is based on alleycropping realised with lignous legumes to which maize is associated. It is proved that in spite of pruning activities, spacing and plotting with randomized blocks, biomass production is poor because of direct planting and conditions of site. The author suggests that in spite of the recency of the experiment, Cassia siamea, Acacia auriculiformis, and Sesbania sesban should be promoted.
