In order to improve the quality of rice, Authors have screened OL-resistant calli L-37,L-38,L-40 and L-43 by embryonic culture and using L-4-oxalysine (OL) as an inhibitor and Akahikali rice as material on inductive medium of OL 1000mg/l. The L-37,L-40 have redifferentiated into green plants. The lysine content of OL-resistant calli increased by 218.8% as compared with that of control.
