5-methyl cytosine in different organs and different species of Vicia [Egypt]

In this investigation DNA of four species of Vicia was studied. 5-methyl cytosine content was correlated with evolution of species and has a role in taxonomy. Also, its content was correlated with the organ specification and a quantity of 5-methyl cytosine is synthesized in the time of DNA replication.
