1987
Sabet, T.M. (Cairo Univ. Fayoum (Egypt). Faculty of Agiculture)
Chlorophyll deficiency in F. plants of certain wheat crosses, despite normality of their parental varieties, has been visualized as discoloration of leaves at heading stage. The phenomenon was studied in the cross Giza 155 X Red Egyptian. Discoloration was accompanied by irregularity in chloroplast shape, reduction in their number and a decrease in chlorophyll content.
