Two field experiments were carried out at Gemmeiza Agricultural Research Station, Agricultural, Research Center, Egypt, during 1981/82 and 1982/83 wheat growing seasons to study the effect of four irrigation regimes and four nitrogen levels on yield, yield components and some agronomic characters of the wheat cultivar Sakha 61. The results revealed that the grain yield, number of kernels per spike, 1000-kernel weight, plant height and flag leaf area increased with increasing number of irrigations more than three irrigations whereas number of spikes/ m2 was not affected.
