Eotetranychus zacheri Zaher, Gomaa and El-Enany succeeded to develop and reproduce on Ipomoea batatas and Rosa sp. Female life cycle, longevity, life span and female fecundity averaged 12.4, 9.1 and 21.2 days and 24.45 eggs, respectively on the former host, while averaged 13.9, 9.3 and 23.3 days and 24 eggs, respectively on the latter at 29 C average temperature. Statistical analysis showed no significant differences of different developmental periods between the two hosts.
