The effect of organic manure on the growth and yield of Corchorus olitorius

The effect of organic manure (of poultry, cattle, a mixture of cattle and poultry) on growth and yield of Corchorus olitorius is reported. Poultry manure gave the least survival percentage one week after transplanting but the mixture gave the highest. Cattle manure gave the highest mean height and highest total marketable yield and total edible yield with earliest flowering and fruit setting
