Our fruit growing on sandy soil (Hungary)
1989
Molnar, B.
Sandy districts in Hungary come up to 22 per cent of the agricultural and forest districts. Fruit growing in Hungary on sandy soil is most important in two districts: in the region between the Danube and Tisza and in Nyir-Szabolcs. From the point of view of fruit growing a contrasting difference is that the sand in the region between the Danube and the Tisza is alkaline and the sand in Nyir has acid reaction. Present paper deals with the formation of our fruit growing in these districts.
