The possibility of successfully control the reproductive function of dairy cows with "Syncro-mate B plus" (SMB - French method) was studied. The treatment consisted of Norgestomet implant and injection, and two injections of PGF 2 alpha analogue. The cows are inseminated 54 to 56 h after implant removal. Cow fertility rate after SMB synchronization was higher in control cows, inseminated during spontaneuos oestrous. Calving rate after first insemination amounted in experimental and control cows 50 and 32 percent, respectively
