Barley and rapeseed as components of diet for chick broilers

In the experiments hulled and hulless barley was used instead of ground maize and rapeseed meal, and instead of soybean meal in diets for broiler chickens. Starter diets contained 15 percent of ground maize, 18 percent of soybean meal, 29.5 percent of barley and 3.5 percent of rapeseed meal. No effect of these diets on broiler performance was observed
