Seasonal differences in the fat and dry matter content in the bulk milk

The fat and dry matter content in milk delivered to the Dairy Plant in Siedlce from 33 milk purchase points was determined. Significant differences in the milk composition depending on the year season have been proved. In summer milk contained, on the average, 11.6 percent of dry matter and 3.3 percent of fat, in autumn 12.03 and 3.83 percent, respectively
