Influence of container type on the growth and development of Pinus nigra plants, cultivated in different site conditions

Experiment with seedlings of Black pine (Pinus nigra, Arn) was set in a nursery in 3 container types, "Jukosad", "G.O.R.A. 78" and "Plantagrah". The following parameters were investigated: height of seedlings, root collar diameter, number of veins in some container types, weights of the stem and needles and root dry mass. The produced seedlings were placed in the field, on 3 localities and their root striking and height of plants were monitored.
