Morphometric and technological characteristics of the dogwood (Cornus mas L.) fruits in Polimlje and Moraca [Yugoslavia]

The following characteristics were established for the selected forms of dogwood (Cornus mas L.), originating from the Polimlje and Moraca region in Montenegro (Yugoslavia): yields of 18-60 kg per tree; fruit mass ranged from 2.51+-0.03 to 3.31+-0.04 g; there was no direct correlation between stone mass and fruit mass; flesh percentage ranged from 73.81 to 89.95%; fruit length differed; fruit width ranged from 13.14+-0.06 to 16.44+-0.10 mm; chemical characteristics of the selected types differed.
