Contribution to the study of the vegetative propagation of Sequoiadendron giganteum

The following has been concluded on the basis of the results: successful taking root of gigant sequoia seedlings was achieved with cuttings taken from the parent tree in the first half of May. Taking root was also successful without the use of growth hormones and mineral additives, and even with cuttings taken from an almost fifteen-year-old parent tree.
