This is an analysis of the information on sow fertility, on farms in Slovenia (Yugoslavia), for the period between 1980-1985. The following has been established: the number of liveborn baby pigs is practically constant; some fertility measures were improved during the study period; the number of feeding days significantly decreased per liveborn baby pig in gilts, and slightly in sows; the greatest changes during the years occurred in the rate of baby pig loss.
