The effect of soil water regimes on flowering, seed yield and quality of harvested seeds in both seed and bulb onion (Allium cepa L. cvs., Faridpuri and Red Cresol-Holland) were studied under potted and field condition. The present study suggests that the moderate soil water regimes (50%) ensure the better quality of harvested seeds compared to both high and low soil water regimes.
