Pollution deposition types in Slovak forests

The alternative approach to exact mathematical models for predicting some unknown situations were used for creation of pollution deposition types. Our pollution depostition types were expressed by the possible value of an expert system for prognosing in landscape ecology. We have determined three main types - acid, basic and ammonium and eight subtypes. Regional and local qualifying pollution deposition types is important for future management of forest stands in Slovakia. Pollution deposition types present possible changes of forestin environment, which were caused by pollutants.
