Utilization of optimization model of piglet production in pig breeding

A description of the application of the optimization model of piglet production to the perspective of development of pig breeding in the Czech Republic up to 2000 is presented in the study with the help of the reproduction parameters in the performance of commercial herds. Possible effects of the optimization of the reproduction process in pigs are shown on the basis of model calculation of the elimination of the negative impact of the summer infertility of sows.
