This method facilitates direct analytical determination of boron fractions (water-soluble (WSB), exchangeable (EB), acidic (ACIDB), residual (RB) and total (TB)) in soil. Indirectly (by computation) it is possible to determine the fractions of neutral (NB) and active (ACTIVB) boron. The method was verified on a set of soil samples representing the soil types occurring in Slovakia, CSFR. Respective results of the minimal, maximal and mean content of boron fractions recorded: WSB 1.64, 4.10, 2.79; NB 2.46, 4.92, 3.00; ACTIVB 16.90, 33.10, 23.94; EB 0.01, 1.23, 0.61; ACIDB 14.44, 30.64, 20.73; RB 4.35, 9.80, 7.16; TB 41.91, 76.29, 58.23.
