[Effect of load vines and training method on yield and quality of alkamaly and deas elanze Vitis vinifera L.]
1988
Al-Hasseny, M.M.H.
72 vines of alkamali and des-al-anze were selected and pruned with 35, 42, and 49 eyes in vine, and two training methods (fan and orbor method) were used. Results indicate that increasing number of nodes left on the vine in both cultivars, resulted in an increase of the total yield, weight rate, number of clusters, and the weight of cluster. Both fan training method and des-al-anze cultivar were overtopped in the total yield weight rate, clusters weight, berries weight and size, reducing sugar percentage, and total leaf area. The interference between the third load level and the fan training and the two cultivars gives the maximum yield with a good quality specification
