It was recorded 34,163 litters in 1989. The following characters were taken into account: number of piglets (litter at first day after birth; number of piglets) litter in the 21 of life, litter weight in 21 day of life, teats number of the sows, age of gilt at the first farrowing and the length of the period between two succesive litters. The paper comprises the calculation of arithmetic means of all characters discussed, taking into consideration the following combination: - reproductive performance of breds for whole country, Regional Animal Breeding Offices, sectors
