Fasciola hepatica sporocysts developing in Galba truncatula and Limnaea tomentosa were compared. It was found that the histological structure and distribution of the sporocysts in the host organism do not depend on the snail species. The length and shape the sporocysts, however, are influenced by their host. It was also determined that a relationship exists between the number of sporocysts and their developement stage
