Properties of humic acids from soils under various fertilizing treatments
1989
Gonet, S.S.
The influence of long-term mineral and organic fertilization on the properties of soil organic matter and humic acids has been examined. The investigations were based on analyses of soil samples taken from plough layers of seven long-term fertilizing experiments carried out in the following treatments: without fertilizers, manure, NPK, manure + NPK. Fertilizing doses were different in different experiments, and they averaged: 10-27 t/ha in the case of manure and 179-222 kg/ha in the case of mineral fertilizers yearly. Total carbon content, pH, fractional composition of soil organic matter as well as its susceptibility to oxidation were determined in soil samples. Characteristic of humic acids were made by means of following analyses: elemental composition, IR and visible spectra, thermal properties and susceptibility to oxidation
