Transformations of copper in soil when applied as CuSO4 and its uptake by plants
1990
Jasiewicz, C.
Among the most important factors affecting the distribution of copper among fractions of the latter are the total exchangeable bases, the content of organic matter and the soil reaction. The supplying of plants with copper is affected chiefly by the fractions Cu-CaCl2 and Cu-CH3COOH and total exchangeable bases. As an indicator of availability of this microelement to plants the use of the ratio of copper content in roots to its content in plant tops was suggested
