Four soils differing with respect to typology, kind and genus were used. The relationships between the concentrations of Al, Fe, Si, and K and pH have a parabolic character for the soils studied. The minima of these relationships for Al and Fe do not depend on the kind of soil and occur in narrow pH intervals: 4.2-5.1 and 4.2-5.6, respectively
