Three Trichoderma strains (T. viride C-1, T. hamatum C-1, T. harzianum C-1) cultivated on rotary shaker in the presence of various cellulose substrates, showed different extracellular activity of cellulase, xylanase, and polygalacturonanse. The least efficient carbon source and extracellular hydrolase inducer in the cultures of three Trichoderma strains proved to be carbohydrates present in wheat bran. Their presence was usually accompanied by lowest enzymatic activity. Maximum activity of the examined hydrolases was observed after 96 h or 120 h of cultivation
