An investigation on high moisture containing horse bean and wheat grains preserved with Graintona or other preservatives as urea, sodium formate, calcium propionate and ammonium propionate was carried out. A decrease of bacteria and fungi number in the grain preserved with Graintona was stated. No influence of Graintona preservation on digestible protein content was observed
